Frequently Asked Questions

Do you charge fees for your services?

In most cases, no, I’m paid by the travel suppliers.

The only exceptions are:

  • Group bookings (a planning fee may apply)

  • Bookings using points (a service fee applies to that portion)

I’ll always be upfront about any fees before we move forward.

Is it more expensive to book with a travel advisor?

Nope! In most cases, pricing is the same as booking online.

The difference?
You get expert advice, personalized recommendations, and someone in your corner if anything goes sideways.

When should I book my vacation?

The earlier, the better, especially for:

  • Peak travel times (Christmas, fall break, spring break)

  • Larger groups

  • Specific resorts or room types

Last-minute deals aren’t as common as they used to be, and waiting can actually cost more.

Do you only book Mexico and the Caribbean?

Yes, that’s my specialty.

I focus on destinations I know inside and out so I can give you real advice, not just what Google says.

Can you help with group travel?

Absolutely, it’s one of my favourite things to plan.

What happens after I book with you?

A lot, even if you don’t see it

You’ll receive:

  • Travel details and documents

  • Destination guides and tips

  • Reminders and important info before you go

And I’m here if anything comes up before or during your trip.

Do you help if something goes wrong while I’m traveling?

Yes, that’s one of the biggest reasons to book with me.

If something unexpected happens, I’ll guide you on what to do and help you work through it instead of you being stuck figuring it out on your own.

Do I really need travel insurance?

I highly recommend it.Travel insurance protects your investment.

It’s one of those things you hope you never need, but you’ll be glad you have it if you do.

I promise I’ve probably been asked all of these before, and if you don’t see your question here, just ask!
